Establish a Ruby’s house in Peel to enable young people 12–17 to access a targeted, early support program to reduce the risk of homelessness in the longer term. Based on the Ruby’s Reunification Program that has been operating in South Australia since 1993.

Construction of 12 tiny homes and granny flats to install on private or government land to address the shortage of available hones for people and families in need.

There are 22 Child and Parent Centres in WA, in convenient locations at or near local primary schools. Supporting parents with children up to eight years old, Anglicare’s Dudley Park Child & Parent Centre is the only one located in the Peel region. There is a need for additional Child and Parent Centres in the Shires of Murray and Serpentine-Jarrahdale, to give families easy access to advice, programs and services, and give schools the opportunity to work with families from the time children are born through to starting school and beyond. The centres will assist children to be ready to start school, and to become happy, confident learners.

Address the lack of Life Skills being taught in our schools to provide the tools to navigate life events such as buying a car, types of insurance and why you need it, maintaining your vehicle, renting or sharing accommodation, maintaining, Afterpay, and other credit card debt to name a few. This requires creation of an endorsed program for senior secondary students to be delivered as part of the school curriculum or as extra-curricular activities and are listed on the student’s Western Australian Statement of Student Achievement.

Large scale restoration is urgently needed to restore our waterways. Damage to the local environment will damage the local economy, local jobs, and put further pressure on the cost of living — the effects of which will be felt by families in the Peel region and beyond. The Peel-Harvey waterways are showing signs of another ecological collapse, as experienced in the 1980s. The Dawesville Cut, completed in 1994, reset the ecosystem at the time but is struggling to balance the declining rainfall and persistent nutrient inputs from agriculture and urban development. The waterways of the Peel Region contributes $605 million economic value, over 2,000 jobs and attracts more than 3 million visitors a year. The health of the estuary and its waterways is essential to support all aspects of the region’s economy, ecological and conservation values, lifestyle and wellbeing of its community.

Refurbishment of rail carriage assets to provide torism, hospitality and accommodation options at the Pinjarra Heritage Railway Precinct

Implementation of the Waroona Town Centre Revitalisation Strategy will bring vibrancy and an economic focus to the town centre of Waroona. Priority projects have been identified and are undergoing detailed planning and business case development. The present phase includes landscaping, civil design improvements, verandahs, connection to water, wayfinding& signage, paths, parking, art and lighting.

Lime Kiln Trail has significant historical and cultural significance, a trail along the rail corridor would enable telling of those stories. This trail will also enable opportunity for trail users to travel between the Darling Scarp and the Coast.

Johnston Road is at the centre of multiple new and existing large developments that are expected to more than double traffic volumes. The road's narrowness, lack of markings, and absence of passive safety measures will be unable to mitigate safety risks under conditions of higher traffic, particularly that of heavy vehicles. Inestigation & assessment of options.

Implement Phase 4 of the Drakesbrook Weir Precinct Master Plan to significantly increase tourism visitation and market share to the region. This includes the Boardwalk and Universal Access Path.

The Lake Clifton community reserve provides a community focal point for Lake Clifton residents. It houses a community building, fire brigade building a playground, and other minor structures in poor condition. Development of this site brings the opportunity for better social inclusion and resident well-being. Phase 2 includes provision of improved parking, a nature path with exercise equipment, improved storage, water tanks and a new family picnic area and playground.

Implement Phase 3 of the Drakesbrook Weir Precinct Master Plan to significantly increase tourism visitation and market share to the region. This includes the Dedicated Fishing Spots.

The newly formed Waroona Croquet Club is seeking to establish a location for two courts and small facility in which to play and grow it membership from. This has social inclusion and well-being benefits for the community.

The Men's Shed are planning to build a new shed and upgrade the space outside of their facility to provide more room for their operations, which are now so successful that they have run out of space in the current facility. This project provide social inclusion and well-being outcomes.

The lask of an alternative egress road from Preston Beach presents a significant fire risk to the Preston Beach Town and it limits potential urban and economic development of the town. A second road heading south from Preston Beach to Myalup would address this risk as well as provide the same benefit to Myalup.

Construction of River platforms that enable safe and accessible access to the river at the Murray River Foreshore, Pinjarra

Uncontrolled camping at Waroona Dam has led to significant complaints regarding anti-social behaviour in the area surrounding Waroona Dam. Environmental damage has occurred and a heightened bush fire risk is present without controlled access and managment of this area. A managed campaing ground needs to be established and implemented across this area. This area attracts local residents and visitors from Perth and other locations. It is popular for dam users who ski, boat and swim in the dam and has the ability to imcrease toursim further with a well-managed camping ground.

The Town of Waroona has a large deficit of connected scheme sewerage with approximately 1/2 of the urban area remaining on septic sewereage disposal. This is a significant disincentice for subdivision in Waroona. Preston Beach is in a worse condition with no scheme sewerage. It lies in a sewer sensitive area meaning that no subdivision is possible within this urban area, despite zonings which should permit this to occur. Re-ignition of the sewer in-fill program will provide environmental benefits to the Shire and will encourage growth through land development. It will aslo lead to further housing stock which is a pressing issue in the Shire of Waroona.

The Waroona Signage Program is an economic development related project aimed at increasing tourism through the provision of new and refreshed signage across Waroona. This includes entry statements, regional signage, way finding signage and billboard signage.

Revitalisation of the existing neighbourhood park and activation space as the primary recreational precinct for the North Pinjarra community.

Two gender neutral changeroom, toilet and shower facilities to meet the growing demand of AFL, cricket and netball participants of all genders.

Refurbished pedestrian bridge, and new neighbourhood park with formal parking and waterfront infrastructure at Pelicans Park, South Yunderup.

Replacement of existing bridge constructed in 1975 that has deteriorated.

Funding allocations and suitable contracts to enable the sector to address current and emerging gaps in community and community health service delivery across the region.

Funding is required to construct a bridge suitable for pedestrian and bikes to cross the Hotham River. The establishment of this link will enable access for cyclists and walkers to the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail from Boddington and also link into the trails on offer in Dwellingup.

Delivery of innovative, future-proofed training to address significant forecast shortages of skilled labour in the aged care sector, initially within the region, leading to supporting the sector statewide.

Upgrading and extending the current MPAC facilities to meet cuurent trens and audience expectations.

Design and construction of permanent sand by-passing at Mandurah Estuary mouth and Dawesville Channel using jet pumping technology which offers a more adaptable solution to erosion and climate change and improved protection against erosion caused by storms or tsunamis.

Development of the City Hub to include a city centre library, learning & training facilities, heritage and arts facilities and visitors centre.

Activate commercial eco-tourism and recreation opportunities, including a suite of prodicts such as trails, camp sites, an enhanced thrombolite experience, eco-tourism accommodation and Aboriginal tourism experiences.

With crisis accommodation, transitional units and social housing stocks completely overwhelmed, the provision of short-term family orientated accommodation will have an immediate and lasting impact. To get people and families out of cars, tents, caravan parks or unsafe homes, there is a need for accommodation that can provide highly affordable short -term rental options for people experiencing homelessness, particularly families with children. Develop a feasibility study and business case for the required infrastructure and management services for the establishment of short-term housing for people, particularly families, experiencing homelessness in the Peel region.

Delivery of two additional basketball courts at the Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre alongside associated gender neutral change facilities and amenities for associated sporting clubs will: • Address fast-growing sporting and recreation needs • Provide high-quality sporting facilities • Improve participation in sport and recreation

A health hub is proposed to address the higher than average health issues facing the Murray and surrounding communities by providing access to preventative health care and community based services. 37% of Murray residents have a long-term health issue compared to just 30% in Perth.

Redevelop the Waroona Town Centre to include a centrally located Community Precinct to strengthen wellbeing, promote participation and encourage re-connection through the provision of recreation opportunities for all ages, abilities and interests. The precinct will include a skate park, pump track, playground, bbq's and park facilities. The project will breathe life into the town centre generating traffic for local business, improving tourism product and creating an exciting public realm for Waroona residents and the wider Peel region to enjoy.

Refurbishing the former Irrigation offices to create a multi-funstion area in the heat of the town centre precinct to provide commercial opportunities to support and integrate with the precinct as a meeting and recreational space.

The Big Shed Pavilion completes the Waroona Community Precinct project, by refurbishing this space to create an inviting sheltered multi-function area in the heart of the precinct for visitors and community alike. The Big Shed Pavilion is part of a plan to address activation of the Waroona Town centre, bringing people and economic stimulation to Town. The solution is a major refurbishment and upgrade to the Big Shed Pavilion. It will be turned into a multi-function space, capable of casual use within the Precinct for families and tourists, use of not-for-profit groups for community activities and function space for civic ceremonies complimenting the adjacent open space area.

State Agreement Acts to be reviewed to align with modern agreements and formalise a role for key local stakeholders and other actions to improve governance and oversight mechanisms that have not kept pace with contemporary practices or community expectations. -Strategic assessment of Northern Jarrah Forest -Regulatory bodies to introduce well-resourced compliance assessment processes -Federal & State Government legislative review to investigate alternative regulatory options (address loopholes that enable avoidance and ignore cumulative impact) -Increase protected areas in NJF Region (as specified by Beeliar Group & Leeuwin Group of Professors) -No further expansion in mining until strategic assessment complete -Publicly accessible central record of native vegetation in WA – updated regularly -Introduction of a publicly available central record of applications for new, expansion, and instances of non-compliance

Local food producers are experiencing significant growth in demand for product resulting in significant demand for seasonal workers. With most of these workers being sourced from overseas, there is an urgent need to provide accommodation. Similarly there is accommodation demand from the mining sector, which are currently tenanting resort space within the Shire of Waroona.

Redevelopment of the unfit for purpose clubhouse facility, greenkeeper sheds and other facilities to cater for expanding membership base due to population growth across the region.

Installation of additional passing lanes periodically between the town sites of Boddington and Dwellingup to encourage drivers to wait for a safe opportunity to pass. The route has been the site of a number vehicle crashes and incidents, and causes continued concern from users with a high number of near misses. Significant amounts of trucks at slow speed make this route a dangerous drive, often with 50km between overtaking opportunities.

Undertake remediation works to the Hotham River in the vicinity of the Town Pool, immediately upstream of Lion’s weir, through removal of accumulated sediment to the contour of the original river bed. The project seeks to improve the health of the waterways and reinstate a suitable environment for native flora and fauna to thrive.

Improvement to the Town Centre including undergrounding of power, pathways, street furniture and landscaping to create a vibrant attractive town centre.

Peel Alliance seeks to ensure the planned and sustainable provision of water to the Peel region considering the impact of climate change, a rapidly growing population, and opportunities for agriculture and industry, whilst protecting our environment and precious waterways. Even under a ‘waterwise’ or highly conservative demand projection, the region’s needs will exceed the currently available sources of water within the next few years. Financial support is needed urgently to optimise existing water supplies at a local level for community recreation facilities, parks and public open space; as well as funding for further investigation, development oif a formal adaptive management framework business cases for identified solutions.

Continued implementation of the Drakesbrook Weir Precinct Master Plan to significantly increase tourism visitation and market share to the region. This phase includes the Secondary Node, Kayak Launch and Trail Outlook Node.

The declining state of the waterways presents a significant risk to the economy of the Peel Region. The Peel Waterways Institute (Stage 1) has commenced and will provide research and community engagement infrastructure and equipment including a mobile laboratory; 2 x remote laboratories; 2 x river health assessment trailers; a community engagement trailers and associated scientific equipment.

A rescue mission for the thrombolites from the increasing salinity of Lake Clifton. The Thrombolites attract ~240,000 visitors a year and are critically endangered. To prevent them from becoming extinct, salinity of the lake must be reduced.

Establish an infrastructure fund for projects to establish healthy waterways across the Peel-Harvey Catchment by taking action to reduce the nutrient load reaching the Ramsar listed Peel-Harvey Estuary by implementing recommended actions of the Environmental Protection Authority’s 2008 ‘Water Quality Improvement Plan’.

East Keralup is a 3800ha landholding 45km south of Perth originally intended for residential development, however due to environmental and other land constraints, these aspirations were determined not to be viable. The site is now being developed as a commercial and industrial precinct, led by the Peel Development Commission. $9.2 million has been committed to upgrade infrastructure including roads and drainage in East Keralup to attract private industry and create local jobs.

Connect Waroona to Hamel via the existing rail corridor providing a key connection in the local trail network.

New infrastructure (lighting and ablution facilities) at the Edenvale Heritage Precinct that will allow the location to host both large and small scale events.

Upgrading of the 1600km Peel Trails Network by investing in trails related infrastructure including development of new trails experiences. The Peel Trails Program will position the Peel as a key regional trails destination. Capitalising on its iconic landscapes and variety of trails from scarp to coast, the trails will attract tourism and adventure visitors locally and from afar. Attractions will include mountain biking, hiking, running, bush-walking, canoeing and 4-wheel-driving.

Development of the Pinjarra Town Centre by providing for a comprehensive range of services, facilities, housing options and employment opportunities, structured around a compact town core with sufficient development intensity and distribution of key retail and other attractor land uses to maximise pedestrian flows along streets, encourage walkability and enable efficient high frequency public transit.

The Peel Business Park is providing infrastructure for food manufacturing and processing industries, logistics enterprises and supporting commercial and light industrial activities. 74 hectares will be ready by 2021 with a further 120 hectares by 2031. All Stage 1 lots are sold or under offer. Stage 2 lots are now available.

The WAFIP’s focus is on commercial research and development, innovation and value-adding. WA’s agribusinesses will be able to use facilities at the WAFIP to commercialise research, scale up production and access market and export opportunities. Businesses can utilise common-use advanced Food &Beverage equipment for production, processing and/ or packaging.

This project will lead to a future Stage 2. The AWRC will provide a permanent centralised hub for water science research and related business activity, regionally, nation-wide and internationally. The centre will accommodate a range of agencies and organisations including government agencies, research institutions, and the PHCC. The centre will also potentially incorporate tourism and indigenous cultural elements.

Infrastructure development to foster the further development of the equine industry and establish Pinjarra as a viable place for the anticipated relocation of the industry from Perth.

Road deviation from Pinjarra Road (Beacham Road intersection) to Greenlands Road and link from Pinjarra Light Industrial Area to Greenlands Road. This project is part of the Pinjarra Revitalisation Strategy and will enable Pinjarra's main streetscape and town centre to become more pedestrian friendly, vibrant and attractive. Pinjarra's population is expected to increase from 4,000 to 16,000 by 2036.

RACWA is seeking investment to undertake the development of services and facilities at Murrayfield to facilitate development in line with the approved development plan and Business Case. This will facilitate pilot training, a light sports aircraft centre, aircraft storage and aircraft maintenance and repair facilities, and upgraded for international cargo freight. The airport is located adjacent to the Western Australian Bush Fire Centre of Excellence which will also value-add to the facility.

Realignment of the existing Freight Rail out of the centre of the Mundijong Whitby Urban cell to service the new 440ha West Mundijong Industrial Area will support the planned urban development of Mundjiong/Whitby, the development of West Mundijong and the future Westport Development.

The Preston Beach Foreshore carpark provides the lauch area for access to Preston Beach for both vehicles and walking beach users. It has both community social benefit and economic benefit through visitors to this Town. The facilities, including the ablution area and RV area are due to refurbishment.

The project will provide a netball facility that can cater for the Mandurah and Peel netball community for the next 50 years. It is proposed to develop a 19 court facility (expanding to 24 courts by 2036) with supporting infrastructure including clubrooms, changerooms, umpire / official rooms, lighting and administration space for local based associations. The project will also provide multi use opportunities with other local associations aligned to basketball and tennis.

Healthy soils, water resources are the basis of long-term food production & farm profitability. Producers can see the importance of regenerating land, landscapes to their businesses, need technical, logistical support to implement new soil & on-farm water management practices. This project will accelerate uptake of regen ag & farming systems through. The 4 year project will support work of state gov’t & regional grower groups, & continue to develop the Region’s clean-green image. Farmers directly supported through technical advice, on-farm trials, incentives, marketing opportunities. PHCC will work collaboratively with other groups to deliver the project.

Broadacre ag (inc. 400 beef grazing ops), 70% of Peel coastal plain, major contributor to economy, amenity & environmental condition of Peel Region. Farmers need targeted support to renew production systems & remain economically viable in sensitive catchment. Existing programs - some tools, uptake lagging (limited, patchy extension support, insufficient profitability attention). Plans - implement program to set new sustainability benchmarks based on results of research & work already underway by others. 4 year project - extension support to implement on-farm practice change.

Develop 10 km mountain bike trail infrastructure on Williams Reserve 2km South of Boddington to create a locally significant mountain bike destination. Williams Reserve is earmarked as a medium priority site with potential for a network of cross country (XC) trails awaiting transfer from Water Corporation.

The Waterfront Development will comprise significant upgrades to public spaces in the City Centre precinct including the Eastern Foreshore, Western Foreshore and Smart Street Mall to enhance the tourism and stimulate private commercial investment into the City Centre.

The Peel-Yalgorup Wetlands Trails will grow the Peel Region’s tourism potential by developing a diverse range of environmentally sustainable tourism attractions to the wetland system that will promote its natural beauty, wildlife, recreational opportunities and Aboriginal culture. These will potentially include walk, mountain bike, equestrian and paddle trails, pop-up dining, bird watching and wildlife tours, indigenous interpretive trails and tours, and a variety of eco-accommodation options.

Re-activate the South West Highway as a major tourist drive/route to increase tourism and economic activity between Byford and Harvey. Hundreds of thousands of vehicles travel south from Perth annually. By developing the concept of the Harvest Highway through increased awareness, promotion, signage and so on, the LGAs can see great potential in having this access promoted as a key tourist route/drive.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale aims to deliver two trails projects to enhance the trails offerings and increase visitation and tourism. ·Wungong Regional Park as a priority trail project, with state significance for bush walking, trail running and mountain biking ·The Mundijong to Jarrahdale Rail Trail has the potential to create a family friendly and accessible rail trail experience for walkers, cyclists and horse riders

Develop Jarrahdale Trails Centre to: • Provide high quality tourism facilities, visitor attractions and experiences • Position Jarrahdale as a competitive globally recognised tourism destination • Establish a place where the natural environment and cultural heritage support a sustainable visitor economy • Support the economic development of Serpentine-Jarrahdale through catalyst investment in the subject area

Trail linking Waroona with Drakesbrook Wier and Lake Navarino will provide an important local link opening up access to a variety of trail based and other recreation opportunities and providing the associated physical and mental health benefits. While there are significant barriers in term of land ownership this trail link should be considered a priority and access agreements should be sought.

Development of industry standard hospitality and tourism facilities at the Mandurah Education Campus.

Development of a TAFE in Byford to enable access to equine businesses and provide an opportunity to explore the development of equine related training alongside traditional TAFE courses.

Mental health coordination team pilot program at Peel Health Hub, coordinating GP / specialist / NFP and support programs for patients presenting or referred with mental health needs.

This pilot program aims to reduce patient presentation to ED from aged care facilities and improving end of life quality by coordinating GP and nurse practitioner attendance in-house, along with support from digital/in reach and other care coordination.

Construction of critical facilities for the Shire’s aging population, ensuring the ability for residents to age in their community. The construction of residential aged care accommodation (minimum 47 beds) will provide older people with opportunities to live healthy, positive and productive lives, connected to and participating in their local community for as long as possible.

The residents of Lakelands, Madora Bay and surrounding suburbs are split by a busy four lane highly trafficked highway, which sees over 25,000 vehicles per day. This project will alleviate this issue by installing a pedestrian bridge to provide a safe, accessible connection.

A new multi-purpose community facility in Dawesville captures the aspirations of local residents and will deliver a hub of community activity for generations to come. Dawesville has experienced significant growth over the last 15 years, leading to increased demand for social infrastructure, community facilities and services. The current population of 9,153 is expected to grow by 49% to 2036, with residents currently travelling to and from central Mandurah for the majority of services (1 hour by bus).

Wastewater will be diverted from Gordon Rd Wastewater Treatment Plant for the North Mandurah Wastewater Reuse Scheme to enable access to alternative supply for northern district public open space watering.

The Keirnan Park Recreation Precinct Stage 1A and 1B involves the planning and construction of 2x AFL/Cricket ovals, 12x district netball courts, 1x pavilion, BMX facility, parking and associated infrastructure, to meet recreation infrastructure needs. $20 million was committed to the project by the WA Government.

Development of 6 netball courts (2 for multi-use), Fencing, lighting, retaining, pavilion and car parking. Delivery of additional multisport facilities at Keirnan Park will: • Provide safe and modern sporting facilities for girls and women • Meet growing demand for netball and multi-use courts • Improve participation in sport and recreation

Operating as a satellite service under the Armadale Health Service, the facility will provide a vital health asset to WA’s fastest growing area. Located at the Civic site south of the future Byford METRONET train station, the Health Hub will provide space for health services including medical clinics, allied health and GPs, mental health, nurse practitioner, community midwife, treatment rooms, and education and training rooms. The WA Government has committed to fund the project in its entirety.

Development of the old Department of Agriculture facilities in Waroona into an Environmental Hub to service the Peel region and wider Western Australian regions. This refurbished facility will incorporate the Peel Harvey Catchment Council, Landcare offices and various other environmental groupings. The hub will focus on best practice sustainability and environmental practice research and implementation.

The Waroona Football Club is fielding its first women's team, however, suitable changerooms and toilets are not available presently. The addition of suitable facilities will encourage more female participation in sport.

Planning for the medium and long term future for sport by firstly identifying suitable land to house future recreation facilities and implementation of a collocated multi-sport recreation centre.

Duplication of the Tomas Road dual carriageway Thomas Road from the Kwinana Freeway to South West Highway (currently Shire Road) to facilitate improves commuter and freight movements east – West across the region and to maximise economic benefits from Westport development.

Completion of the national Dwellingup Trails & Visitor Centre. Preparation and implementation of the Shire of Murray Tourism Marketing Strategy/Plan.

The South-East Dawesville Foreshore is the last large area of strategically located public land available on Mandurah’s estuary. The foreshore development capitalises on the unique location to deliver: Improved public access to the estuary foreshore; Designated areas for kayak and sailing opportunities, Development of a ‘nature play’ adventure play space, Protection and preservation of existing bird nesting sites and the foreshores thriving natural environment.

The City of Mandurah is seeking Government commitment to deliver the next Common Ground facility in Mandurah to break the cycle of homelessness for the more than 80 people living rough in Mandurah. Common Ground is about providing housing to those who are homeless while providing access to permanent housing that is linked with relevant support services to overcome complex histories.

Continuation of funding being sought to employ a Science Advisor to provide advice and integrate science into the management of the Peel-Harvey, including the preparation of a bi-annual Health Report Card and 5-10 year review of the Science Strategy for the Peel-Harvey.

Implement priority actions of the Binjareb Boodja Landscapes 2025 plan including Sustainable recreational use of natural resources, Protect groundwater quality and quantity as hydrological inputs to wetlands and watercourses, Protect near-shore habitats for productivity and biodiversity Improve wetlands and watercourses, Manage and reduce threats, Restore ecological linkages, Communicate state of the catchment and relevant science to decision makers and community, and Maintain effective information collection storage and analysis processes.ye al

Advocacy to extend funding from 2023 to implement Priority actions of the PHCC's Wetlands and People Plan and Binjareb Boodja NRM Strategy engagement programs to Communicate, educate, raise awareness and encourage participation in Natural Resource Management; Develop joint management opportunities for Aboriginal involvement in Natural Resource Management; Increase awareness, knowledge and understanding of natural assets; and Engage community in activities that raise the awareness of a connection with natural assets and values.

Provision of funding to develop headworks and access to establish West Mundijong Industrial Area as an Intermodal Hub. The Intermodal Hub has been identified in the planning stage of Westport as an integral part of the logistics and supply chain for the future port.

Upgrade of 9 priority roads resulting in: • Improved safety of the local road network in anticipation of hypergrowth • Reduced road crashes and fatalities • Supporting tourism and investment within the Shire

Development of a regional level facility to meet the demands of the equine industry across multiple disciplines.

Relocation of the club facility from San Remo to Madora Bay to accommodate the large increase in membership and alleviate issues caused by coastal erosion.

Expansion of the Peel Health Hub to cater for increased demand and expansion of services to include treatment for eating disorders, women's health services, forensic assessments for sexual assaults, and a multidisciplinary service to respond to sexual abuse, assault and family violence.

The project comprises two major components – the Pinjarra Heritage Railway Precinct and Pinjarra to Dwellingup Rail Link. Together, components will deliver the redevelopment of the historic railway station into a precinct with attractions for tourists and community amenities, and the re-establishment of journeys between Pinjarra and Dwellingup on the Hotham Valley Tourism Railway. At a regional level bringing the importance of STEM skills to the forefront through the delivery of initiatives that engage young people in STEM, through the coordination and influence of key stakeholders to embrace STEM, and by promoting STEM career pathways to the broader community. Australia faces challenges in maintaining its labour productivity rate by improving the skills of workers, supporting participation in work, investing in infrastructure and taking full advantage of digital technologies to boost productivity (The Treasury, Intergenerational Report 2021). Embracing innovation, technology and science is critical to powering our economy to provide jobs and high living standards for all Australians (DISER, The National Innovation and Science Agenda, 2015).
