Ashley Maynard — Director of Regional Development

Ashley Maynard joined RDA Peel as Director of Regional Development in February 2026. He brings a background spanning military service, investment banking, and executive leadership roles across tier-1 engineering, consulting and Commonwealth and state public sector organisations.

Ashley’s career has been built on working in complex environments — connecting people, capital and strategy to deliver outcomes in regions and organisations where the path forward is rarely straightforward. He holds a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Diploma of Project Management, and an ICF coaching accreditation.

At RDA Peel, Ashley leads engagement across the region’s five local government areas — the City of Mandurah, Shire of Murray, Shire of Waroona, Shire of Boddington, and Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale — working with government, industry and community to identify and progress the Peel region’s priorities.
